If you write songs but do not produce them, your voice is the fastest way to get an idea across. MixingMusic lets you record directly in the browser and use that recording as the source of a new song.
Record it
- Use the recorder in the create page; a live waveform shows your level as you sing.
- Sing close to the microphone, in a quiet room, without music playing in the background.
- One clear take of a verse and a chorus is enough.
- You can also upload a recording you already have, as long as it is your own song.
Remix: keep your melody and your words
With Remix, your recording is sent as the source and the model keeps your melody while applying the style you describe. If you sang words and leave the lyrics field empty, MixingMusic transcribes what you sang so the song keeps your lyrics. If you prefer, paste the lyrics yourself to avoid transcription mistakes.
New in its style: use it as inspiration
With New in its style, the model takes more freedom: a different melody and lyrics, in the spirit of your recording. Useful when you like the vibe of your idea but not the details.
Tips for a better result
- Sing in tune and in time rather than with heavy vibrato or effects.
- Avoid covers. Recording a published song is the fastest way to get rejected by the copyright filter.
- Be specific with the style. Your voice carries the melody; the style decides the band.
After generating
The generated song uses a model voice, not yours. If you want your own voice on the final track, export the stems and replace the vocal stem with a proper recording of yourself in MixingStudio, then mix and master.
Try it in MixingMusic
Create your song with the Suno V6 engine: 1 free song up to 2:30 with its stems, two versions of every song, and mixing and mastering in the same account. Songs and recordings are kept for 30 days and stems for 7 days, so download what you want to keep.
