Generating songs at random and keeping the best one works, but it is slow and expensive. Treating each song as a small project gives better results with fewer generations.
1. Write a one-paragraph brief
Who is the song for, what is it about, what should it feel like, and two reference descriptions of the sound (not artist names). This becomes your style and guides your lyrics.
2. Lyrics
Write them or generate a draft and edit it. Mark sections with tags. Read them out loud.
3. First generation
Generate with a clear style and a length that fits the lyrics. Listen to both versions and take notes: what works, what does not.
4. One change at a time
If needed, change a single variable (tempo, an instrument, a lyric line) and generate again. Most songs land in two or three generations with this method.
5. Choose and export
Pick the best version, export the stems and download everything.
6. Mix pass
In MixingStudio, fix only what bothers you: vocal level, low end, harshness. Compare with the original.
7. Master
Master for streaming, compare with reference songs at matched loudness, and export WAV and MP3.
8. Release
Check rights and distributor policies, prepare metadata and artwork, and keep all files: in MixingMusic songs are stored for 30 days and stems for 7.
Budget your songs
On a paid plan, a song that takes three generations costs three songs. A good brief and lyrics written before generating are the cheapest way to save them.
