"Rock" is too broad for a prompt. The era and the guitar tone tell the model what you actually want.
Style prompts
- 2000s alternative rock, distorted guitars, driving bass, live drums, raspy male vocal, anthemic chorus
- Rock en español, 90s, clean and crunchy guitars, melodic bass, emotional male vocal
- Pop punk, fast tempo, power chords, energetic female vocal, gang vocals in chorus
- Classic rock, overdriven guitar riff, Hammond organ, bluesy vocal
Writing a chorus that lands
Rock choruses work when they are simpler and higher than the verses. Repeat the title line, use strong vowels on long notes and leave space for a guitar answer.
Structure: Intro (riff), Verse, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, guitar solo ([Solo]), Chorus x2.
Mix tips
Distorted guitars and vocals share the upper mids. From the stems, lower the guitar stem slightly or cut a little around 2–4 kHz on it so the voice comes through. Keep the drums punchy; rock can take a bit more loudness in mastering, but check the cymbals do not turn harsh.
