Downloading Your AI Song: MP3, WAV, Stems and How Long Files Are Kept

What you can download

• The generated song, as delivered by the model (usually MP3). With two versions available, the download button downloads the version selected in the player.
• The stems, as a ZIP of 6 WAV files: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other.
• Your mix and master from the studio, in WAV (and MP3 depending on your plan).

Which format for what

• WAV for anything that will be processed again: mixing, mastering, distribution. It is uncompressed, so repeated processing does not add artifacts.
• MP3 for sharing, previews and social media. Smaller, but compressed.
• Stems (WAV) for mixing, remixes, instrumentals and replacing the vocal.

Converting an MP3 to WAV does not restore quality; it only changes the container. That is why stems and masters are exported as WAV.

How long files are kept

Songs and recordings are kept for 30 days from creation, and stems for 7 days from export. After that, the files are deleted automatically. An expired song stays in your library: it still counts as used and can no longer be played, downloaded or separated. Download what you want to keep as soon as you are happy with it.

A simple archive routine

For each song keep a folder with: the chosen version, the stems ZIP, your lyrics, the final master WAV and MP3, and the artwork.
