Most AI song problems fall into a handful of categories. For each one: what causes it and where to fix it.
Mispronounced words
Cause: unusual names, technical words, words with ambiguous stress.
Fix before generating: rewrite the line with simpler words, or spell names the way they sound. Move tricky words away from the end of a line.
Skipped or repeated lines
Cause: too many lyrics for the chosen length, or verses with very different line lengths.
Fix: shorten the lyrics or choose a longer duration; keep lines of similar length.
The style is being sung
Cause: descriptive text placed in the lyrics.
Fix: keep descriptions in the style field and only singable words in the lyrics.
Abrupt or strange ending
Cause: the model reached the target length mid-phrase.
Fix: add an [Outro] section; compare both versions, one often ends better. In the studio you can add a short fade.
Buried vocal or heavy low end
Cause: the model's mix decisions.
Fix: export the stems, raise the vocal 1–3 dB, lower the bass 1–2 dB, then master.
Harsh or tinny top end
Cause: bright arrangement plus generation artifacts.
Fix: a gentle high-shelf cut in mastering, or a small cut on the stem that causes it.
Rejected song
Cause: lyrics or audio that match protected material.
Fix: use your own lyrics and recordings. A rejected song is not deducted from your balance.
